Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the new theatre firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she also was the costume and set designer for the production, as well as music director, composer and coach for text. For her last year, she was a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut.
