Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the new theatre firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she also was the costume and set designer for the production, as well as music director, composer and coach for text. For her last year, she was a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Her roles include several other series apart from acting. Her two sisters and daughter were raised by her scientist father Richard F. Post, as well as poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. She was a student at Pomona College for a short period of time, and later graduated from Lewis & Clark College, both located in Oregon. In a private note, Post was earlier married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband of 22 years since 1982. The couple has two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as the perfect mother and wife. Post is an inspiration for many within Hollywood.
