Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo is an American actress and published author. The actress began her career by performing in daytime soaps like One Life to Live or Guiding Light, and later played roles as a support actress on television's primetime. Andrea Navedo has been an American actress and performer since the 10th of October, 1977. She was born in New York, The Bronx USA. Navedo began her acting career in a daytime soap. Between 1995 and 1997, she was Linda Soto in ABC's soap show One Life to Live. In 1999 she joined in the ensemble of CBS soap opera Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. She made her film debut with a small character in Girl 6 (1996) then was featured in several episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo appeared as a co-star in Double Take (2001), an action film, as well as on Washington Heights (2002). Navedo was a regular character on the NBC Crime series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Then, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages along with Blue Bloods. Navedo has also appeared in numerous movies, such as El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo was a regular character for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 between 2011 and 2013.
